After Episode 200 of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have become the very real recipients of South Park death threats. After a tongue-in-cheek depiction of Mohammed, a "radical" website posted a very detailed warning saying that Trey and Matt might well end up dead. The South Park death threats have not yet elicited an official response, though Parker and Stone might want to get unsecured personal loans to ensure they have private security.

Threats of death to South Park creators echo other murders

The specific South Park death threats posted this morning also make several references to the murder of Theo Van Gogh. A victim of a very violent murder, Theo Van Gogh was murdered by extremists. There were graphic photographs of Theo Van Gogh's death and near-decapitation attached to the South Park death threats. In an interview with Fox News, the author of the post that integrated the South Park death threat claimed the post was "not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome".

Self Direct IRA, why no hype?

Recently I've been doing some research on a business plan I'm working up. Some of it involves outside investment by people with the means or presently have an IRA they can move over.

The IRA idea really caught my attention a month ago, what is written explains a self-directed IRA as an investment account you can do pretty much anything you want with. Returns guaranteed only if your investments come through, whether that means buying a house, investing in a neighborhood business, or buying stocks through your personal Scott trade account.

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah accepted on Monday the result of a parliamentary election in Lebanon in which his U.S.-backed opponents secured a majority over the Iranian-backed group and its allies.

"We accept these results...with sportsmanship and in a democratic way and we accept that the ruling camp has won the parliamentary majority," Nasrallah said in a televised address, a day after the surprise victory by the anti-Syrian coalition.

The United States, which backs that "March 14" alliance, renewed its support to the group, which also enjoys the backing of regional heavyweights Saudi Arabia and Egypt. President Barack Obama said Washington would "continue to support a sovereign and independent Lebanon, committed to peace."
